Tomer Yariv, founder-director of Tremolo, is the head of two major music academies in Israel:
Buchmann-Mehta school of music, Tel Aviv University
The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance
These two acclaimed institutions collaborates with Tremolo, and part of these collaborations, students get the chance to enhance their studies by participating in Tremolo’s varied activities which includes concerts, master-classes, composition seminars, contemporary ensembles repertoire, practice rooms, rich percussion library and many more.
Additional Israeli academic institutions “exploits” the existence of Tremolo:
Rimon School of Music– Each year Tremolo Center hosts the Composition Department for a percussion seminar of writing to the symphony percussion section and chamber music.
Lectures for the music departments in Levinsky college of Education and Givat Washington College.
Tremolo Percussion Center is also in continuance academic ties with different percussion departments of universities in Europe, USA and Asia.
And last but not least- Tremolo is in constant contact and musical cooperation with Percussive Arts Society.
